Using quilt shop quality fabric, cut thirty-six 9" squares for your backgrounds...some can be the same, but really you should have a nice assortment for variety. They do need to have ONLY DOTS...any size of DOTS

with freezer paper ironed to the back side of your fabric (some can be the same as the background fabric), draw an 8" circle using a compass, or any other way you can to get an accurate circle. Making thirty-six 8" circles. Again, try to use a variety of DOTS fabrics

repeat the previous instructions, but this time making thirty-six 6" circles. Again, using a variety of Dots fabrics.

After removing the freezer paper, use adhesive spray, and/or pins, and center the 6" circles on top of the 8" circles, and then center the 8" circles on the 9" background...mixing up fabrics for a nice variety.

using blanket stitch & black thread, sew your circles. If you do not have blanket stitch, use a small zig-zag. Any blocks that are not stiched will be returned. Please be sure to remove layers of fabric so there will not be any bulk. When trimming layers, you can leave 1/4" from the stitch line. Please make sure not to make more then 4 of the same identical block. Stack up your 36 blocks & ship them off to me......

....I will take care of cutting them into quarters....mixing them up & then shuffling them out to all the other swappers. If all goes well, everyone will get back 144 quarters, that when sewn together, will make....

....yet you can have fun & stitch them together any way you like...but if you make them all like this, you will still have the same results as the other...whatever the case, have fun!
